Job summary

Doral Leadership is seeking a Middle School Academic Advisor for grades 6–8, based in Miami, FL. The role focuses on supporting students’ academic success, personal development, and college/career readiness through progress monitoring, targeted interventions, and family collaboration.

Responsibilities include data analysis, goal setting, coordination of academic interventions, and partnership with teachers and staff to promote student promotion readiness and long-term achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, School Counseling, or related field.
• Florida professional certificate (or eligible).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff.
• Experience with MTSS/RTI frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze student academic performance, attendance, and behavior data.
• Provide targeted interventions and academic support plans.
• Guide students in setting short- and long-term academic and personal goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to address student needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress and concerns.
• Participate in MTSS/RTI processes and student support initiatives.
• Coordinate and implement intervention programs and assist with scheduling and course planning.
