Job summary

Menifee Central in Frenchburg, Kentucky is seeking a Middle School Academic Coach on a part-time basis. You will create and run a coaching program for the elementary academic team, plan sessions, and ensure equipment and safety policies are followed.

You will mentor fellow coaches and volunteers, attend fixtures, and participate in ongoing professional development to improve coaching delivery. A drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Part-time appointment with stipend.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a high-quality coaching program to maximize participation and performance of competitive teams.
• Plan activities to ensure progression throughout the program.
• Ensure equipment is set up, maintained, stored and returned after games and practices.
• Apply health and safety policies as per district guidelines.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to other coaches, players and student volunteers.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve coaching delivery.
