Job description

Middle Project Manager / Project Coordinator

Are you passionate about safeguarding countries, societies, and businesses from hybrid threats?

Look no further! Our rapidly scaling company is committed to this crucial mission, collaborating with some of the world’s most influential organizations, including NATO and the EU.

If you’re ready to join a high-impact team shaping the future of intelligence and security, we invite you to become part of our journey. Join us and help defend the digital world with purpose and innovation!

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager / Coordinator to lead delivery of client projects for our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, from first request to final handover. Our FDEs deliver tailored solutions for clients, from quick, focused requests to longer-term projects.

As our client portfolio grows, you will be the link between our Business Development team and the FDEs, turning new deals into well-scoped projects with defined deliverables, clear ownership, and full visibility of progress. Working closely with our Head of FDE, you will own the operational side of delivery: translating client requirements, assigning responsibilities, running status updates, and making sure every project stays on track. Depending on the project, you may also work directly with our clients and team up with our product and engineering teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys driving delivery in a fast-paced environment and wants to shape how a growing team scales its work from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take in new requests from Business Development, Account Management or clients directly, both for pre-sale work and POCs and for existing clients, and clarify requirements, scope, deliverables and timelines.
  • Assign each project to the right FDE based on current workload and skills, and keep a clear picture of who is working on what.
  • Set up and maintain a project tracking system (Notion, Jira or another tool you choose), making sure statuses and deadlines stay up to date.
  • Monitor progress on all active projects, run status updates, and spot risks and blockers early.
  • Be the main point of contact between FDEs, Business Development and clients: communicate progress, scope changes and adjusted deadlines when needed.
  • Review results against the agreed scope before they go to the client.
  • Talk to Business Development and FDE teams about their pain points and keep improving how they work together.
Requirements
  • 3–4 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator at an IT company or startup.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with technical roles (e.g. DevOps, data or cybersecurity engineers) and what they do.
  • Experience with project management and tracking tools such as Notion, Jira or similar.
  • Upper-intermediate (B2+) English or higher: you will work daily with international colleagues and may talk to clients directly.
  • Self-driven and proactive: you can set your own priorities and build processes without someone telling you what to do.
  • Energetic and organized, comfortable managing several projects at once in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with people who don’t report to you.
Nice to Have
  • Experience at a cybersecurity company or a B2B product company that works with external clients.
  • Experience with client-facing projects, pre-sale activities or POCs.
  • Hands‑on use of AI tools (e.g. Claude) to automate project management tasks or workflows.
  • Experience delivering data, analytics or integration projects.
We Offer:
  • Opportunity to contribute to a mission‑driven startup and support prestigious clients, including governments worldwide, enterprise clients, and leading NGOs in tackling global security challenges.
  • Autonomy and freedom to drive experiments and bring your own ideas to life.
  • Flexibility of remote work, with the option to join our teams in Kyiv and Lviv.
  • Flexible, unlimited time‑off policy.
