Job summary

Clear Street is seeking an Associate for Middle Office & Digital Operations in Del Mar, CA. You will be a first point of contact for trade processing, settlement and reconciliation across equity, fixed income and digital assets.

The role includes daily trade capture, confirmation, allocation, and inquiry resolution, plus collaboration with Trading, Product, Client Service, Accounting, Risk and Compliance. A 2–5 year background in trade operations and a BA/BS in Finance is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in trade operations or middle office.
• Strong knowledge of equity and fixed income trade lifecycle.
• Exposure to digital asset operations is a plus.
• Experience with Omgeo Central Trade Matching and FIX protocol.
• Experience with large datasets and spreadsheets.
• BA/BS in Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trade capture, confirmation and allocation for equities and fixed income.
• Process settlements across equities, fixed income and digital assets.
• Reconcile trades, transfers, positions and inventory across systems and exchanges.
• Monitor inventory and funding for settlement, coordinate cash and asset movements.
• Investigate and resolve regulatory reporting items.
• Manage monthly and quarterly Broker Confirmation processes.
• Collaborate with Trading Desk, Product, Client Service, Accounting, Risk and Compliance.
• Assist in building new applications and test during integrations.
• Track KPIs and document processes for regulatory compliance.
• Escalate issues and contribute to process improvement and automation.
