U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Risk Professional to partner with assigned lines of business and risk managers to develop, implement and oversee an effective risk management framework.

You will identify gaps, inform solutions to minimize losses, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role acts as a liaison between business units and lines of defense, promoting credible risk governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong process facilitation and project management skills.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Possess business acumen and credibility to help business line proactively identify and address changing workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the assigned Line of Business and other Business Risk Professionals to create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework.
• Identify gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.
• Promote governance by elaborating clear roles and responsibilities and serving as a liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
• Participate in projects to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
