Job summary

Schonfeld is seeking a detail-oriented intern to join the Operations division in the Middle Office team at its New York office for ten weeks. You will work with senior management and peers on high-profile projects, with formal training, mentorship, and exposure across Core Operations, Asset Servicing, Technology, Market Data, Accounting, Portfolio Finance, and Prime and Executing Brokers.

Qualifications

Interest in gaining Operations experience at a hedge fund.
Basic understanding of capital markets, investing, and hedge fund strategies.
A keen analytical eye with high regard for attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and/or another programming language.
Experience working with AI to manage projects.
Prior experience using reporting or analytics tools with data aggregation.

Responsibilities

Trade lifecycle support to ensure trades hydrate internal systems and get delivered to external partners.
Trade settlement management with prime brokers and executing brokers to resolve breaks.
Data integrity improvements by creating and centralizing databases.
Collaborate with multiple groups across Core Operations, Asset Servicing, Technology, Market Data, Accounting, Portfolio Finance, and Prime/Executing Brokers.
