Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a technically adept professional for the CLO Middle Office reporting team in Houston. The role focuses on building tools and automations to improve accuracy and efficiency in reporting of collateral, tax, and cashflow data.

You will design data workflows, write SQL/Python scripts, and collaborate with asset managers, auditors, and rating agencies to ensure timely, compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, economics, or accounting.
• 2–3 years in CLO/Middle Office or related reporting.
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python.
• Ability to build tools from scratch and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools used by CLO Middle Office reporting analysts.
• Build automation and data processing solutions using VBA, Python, and SQL.
• Translate reporting workflows and data sources into technical solutions.
• Debug, enhance, and refactor code used in production reporting tools.
• Develop SQL queries and data extracts to support reconciliations and analytics.
• Create well-documented, user-friendly tools maintainable by the team.
