Job summary

Mission Staffing is assisting an international investment bank in Midtown, NY, to hire a trade support specialist for the Asset-Backed Securities desk. The role centers on processing trade bookings, verifying FX settlements, and reconciling trade breaks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of loans administration and cash management support for a large bank or broker-dealer, plus strong Excel and Bloomberg skills to support GL reconciliations and regulatory

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in asset-backed security trade support for a large bank or broker dealer.
• Experience in loans administration and cash management support.
• Familiarity with General Ledger reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.

Job description

Our Client, an international investment bank located in Midtown, NY, is looking for a trade support specialist to cover their Asset-Backed Securities desk. Responsibilities of this position include processing trade bookings on a timely basis, verifying FX settlements, reconciling trade breaks and discrepancies, and coordinating cash funding requests. The ideal candidate will come with at least two years' experience in loans administration and cash management support for an investment bank, familiarity in General Ledger reconciliations, and strong working knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities Include:

• Processing trade bookings and wire funding
• Monitoring and inputting any Commercial Paper and FX trade activity in the firm's database
• Conducting general ledger reconciliations for the securitization middle office team

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in asset-backed security trade support for a large bank or broker dealer
• Strong general product knowledge, preferably in commercial paper, loans, rates, and FX trading
• Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg a plus
