Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an accomplished leader to manage and grow a very large, complex portfolio of commercial loans. You will prospect for new business, close deals, and expand relationships with existing clients while delivering tailored financial guidance.

The role requires extensive commercial lending experience and a strong track record in management, leadership, and strategic thinking to maintain credit quality and drive cross-sell opportunities.

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of commercial lending experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience.

Job Description

Manages and grows a very large and very complex portfolio of commercial loans. Prospects for and closes new business relationships and retains and expands relationships with existing customers. Sells appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals. Provides financial advice to customers. Approves loans within assigned limits, managing loan and portfolio credit quality.

Basic Qualifications
  • - Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
  • - 10 or more years of commercial lending experience
  • - Three or more years of management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • - Considerable knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans
  • - Strong leadership and strategic management skills
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $152,370.00 - 186,230.00
