Job summary

Great Hearts Academies seeks a Middle/High School Math Teacher at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy to deliver rigorous Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry and Calculus using a Socratic, proof-based approach. You’ll foster a joyful, orderly classroom aligned with the school’s mission to pursue truth, goodness and beauty.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, supporting students, and communicating with families, while collaborating with colleagues and participating in ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required for a lead teaching role.
  • US work authorization is required, OPT/CPT accepted.
  • Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials.
  • Provide academic support and monitor student progress, collaborating with leadership.
  • Uphold culture, dress code, conduct and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with families and schedule conferences as needed.
  • Participate in faculty collaboration and ongoing professional growth.
