Great Hearts Academies, a network of public, tuition-free classical schools, seeks a Fourth Grade Elementary School Teacher for Maryvale Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, AZ.

The role leads K-5 instruction, using Spalding Phonics and Singapore Mathematics within a rich curriculum in History, Science, and Literature.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom that supports the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs in a timely manner.
