Job summary

Intellias is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer focused on Mobile (Appium) and web platforms to drive test automation initiatives. You will contribute to TAF frameworks, implement mobile automation components, and collaborate with a 7-person AQA team to raise quality and coverage across services.

The role requires strong Java 11+ skills, AWS familiarity, and excellent communication in English. International travel may be required as part of customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in QA Automation for Mobile (Appium as main focus), Microservices (RestAssured) and Web platforms (Playwright).
• TAF related tools and frameworks: SpringBoot, Cucumber, Lombok, RestAssured, Playwright, Lombok, Junit5, Gradle, Allure
• Strong skills in Java 11+ and OOP (current TAF java version is 21)
• Experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch or contributing to TAF and maintenance
• AWS services: IAM, RDS, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager
• Deep understanding of design patterns and applying them on project
• Experience with CI processes and Jenkins
• Knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures
• Experience with Git and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Experience in Scrum processes establishment with adjustments
• Strong written and spoken English
• Willingness for international business travel
• Higher Education in Computer Science or related fields

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the mobile automation testing component in the existing hybrid TAF (web+API bdd cucumber based)
• Mobile automation regression coverage using existing preconditions
• Collaboration with a TA development team of 7 AQA Engineers
• Introduce mobile automation practices to the team
• Set up QA processes and practices fitting team and customer needs
• Report project and quality progress, metrics
• Conduct feature demo sessions for a customer team
