Job summary

The School District of Verona is seeking a Custodian for a mid-day shift to maintain a clean and safe environment in our school facilities. The role covers cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, with duties including restocking supplies and basic equipment upkeep.

Candidates with a Black Seal/Boiler license and prior custodial experience in schools are preferred. Open until filled; position available as soon as possible. Benefits include health, pension, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Performing cleaning duties like sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and common areas, emptying trash, and restocking supplies.
• Duties also involve window and furniture cleaning, basic equipment maintenance, and potentially setting up furniture for events.
• The role emphasizes maintaining a safe and orderly environment, adhering to safety guidelines, and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to a supervisor.

Responsibilities
