Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in Wilmington, DE is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician to join the top Midas franchise now part of the Mavis Tire family. You will diagnose, repair, and service brakes, suspensions, and tires, while leading undercar repairs and ensuring quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or related training.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services including brakes, suspensions, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state inspections and oil/filters changes.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.

What you'll do

As a leader in undercar repairs, you will be trusted to:

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.

What we're looking for

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
