Job summary

True Consulting Ltd in Miami Beach is seeking a midweight interior architectural designer to join a studio working on high-end residential projects in the US and internationally.

You will support senior designers from concept through to technical drawings, construction and delivery, coordinating with consultants, contractors and suppliers, and assisting with FF&E.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Excel and a willingness to travel within the US and abroad will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in architecture or interior design.
• Experience with high-end residential and/or luxury hospitality.
• Strong AutoCAD and technical detailing skills.
• Experience with millwork packages.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes and interiors.
• Highly organised with good time management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior, architectural, joinery and millwork details.
• Support Senior Designers on high-end residential projects.
• Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers, finishes and accessories.
• Assist with FF&E specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and fabricators.
• Support CGI production with external visualization partners.
• Attend site visits and assist on project delivery.
• Help resolve design and technical issues throughout the project.
• Manage multiple deadlines in a busy studio.
• Some travel across the US and internationally may be required.

I’m really excited to be partnering with a fantastic international interior design studio on this Midweight Interior Architectural Designer opportunity.

Based in Miami Beach, the studio works across high-end residential projects in the US and internationally, and they’re now looking to add a talented designer to their team.

They work across high-end private residences and luxury projects internationally, and are looking for a technically strong designer who is keen to develop their skills across both design and technical delivery.

You’ll be working closely with senior members of the team, supporting projects from concept and design development through to technical drawings, construction and completion.

The role will include:

• Developing interior, architectural, joinery and millwork details
• Supporting Senior Designers across high-end residential projects
• Sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers, finishes and accessories
• Assisting with FF&E specifications and schedules
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers and fabricators
• Supporting CGI production with external visualisation companies
• Attending site visits and assisting with project delivery
• Helping to resolve design and technical issues throughout the project
• Managing multiple deadlines within a busy studio
• Some travel across the US and internationally will be required

Software:

AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office & Excel are essential.

SketchUp and hand sketching would be a bonus.
