Job summary

Prescient Edge in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Mid-level TSCM Instructor (CI Specialist) to develop and deliver curriculum that reflects current DoD practices. You will teach courses, monitor progress, and coordinate with subject-matter experts to ensure training remains aligned with field operations.

Ideal candidates hold TS/SCI with CI POLY (or ability to obtain), with at least 4 years as a TSCM Agent and documented instructor training or relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a TSCM Agent.
• Must have completed a service TSCM training program.
• Must have completed a service-related instructor training program or have 2 years instructor experience.
• Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum activities to promote training development.
• Assist in evaluation of student progress and maintain up-to-date student data.
• Manage materials, supplies and equipment for the TSCM mission.
• Provide updates to Senior Instructor, Course Manager and TSCM Director on training activities, resources and requirements.
• Instruct courses in assigned area(s) and monitor, evaluate, and assist other instructors.
• Conduct research and liaise with DoD SMEs to mirror current techniques, tactics, and procedures.

• Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data. Descriptions:
• Shall support the development and implementation of curriculum activities that promote the training development of each TSCM student; support annual reviews of TTIs for TCIS training; assist in the evaluation of student progress in the instructional program by means that include maintain up-to-date student data; support the management of materials, supplies and equipment, which are necessary to carry out the TSCM mission; support the accountability, serviceability and security of sensitive items of equipment, provide updates to the Senior Instructor, Course Manager and TSCM Director on training activities, personnel training/certification processes, equipment, fiscal, personnel and logistical aspects and requirements of training; instruct courses in assigned area(s); monitor, evaluate, and assist other instructors; conduct necessary research, observation, and liaison with TCI SMEs to ensure the course curriculum mirrors current techniques, tactics, and procedures used by operational elements in the field.
• Shall Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests.
• Applies understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities / activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies and contributes to developing CI strategies.
• Conducts, develops, produces, and presents programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.
• Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent. Job Requirements Required experiences:

• High School Diploma- 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Associate’s degree- 10 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree- 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Master’s Degree- 6 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Location:
