Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a mid to senior Java Engineer for a cloud-based customer service platform used by billions of users. You will develop in Java and Spring, work on mission-critical systems, and explore building AI agents to assist coding tasks within a monolithic environment.

A strong desire to learn is required as prior agentic AI experience is not mandatory. The role is remote hybrid with 2 onsite days in Richardson, TX every Wednesday and Thursday.

Job description

A cloud-based customer service platform company with billions of annual users is looking to hire a mid to senior Java Engineer to join their growing team. You'll be working on mission critical platforms, building in Java and Spring, and willing to work with Spring Core or Hibernate. A big part of this role is building complex AI agents to help with coding tasks. You'll also be building new features in a monolithic environment. Candidates do not need to have prior experience with agentic AI, but a strong desire to learn is required.

This role is remote hybrid, 2 days onsite in Richardson, TX on Wednesday and Thursday.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Experience with Spring, such as Spring Core, Hibernate, etc. and are open to working with these environments
• Experience with Angular 2+ is a big plus but not required
• Experience and/or strong desire to work with agentic AI
• Strong communication skills needed
