Job summary

MGAC, a global boutique consulting firm, seeks a Mid to Senior Construction Project Manager for Columbus, OH. You will lead data center and hospital projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with owners, A&E teams, and contractors to protect project goals. Local onsite presence is required 3–4 days per week.

You will mentor teams, manage risk, and help drive successful outcomes in a dynamic, client-focused environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management with knowledge of building design and construction processes.
• Bachelors, Associates, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical environment projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• Experience with MEP in ground-up construction.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full project scope while coordinating components across multiple projects.
• Mentor teams and manage schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery.
• Maintain alignment with client vision as a trusted partner.

What Youll Be Doing

MGACs Critical Environments team manages the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. We act as owners representativesresolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects.

Project Leadership

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.

• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.

Financial and Contract Management

• Ensure timely invoicing and collection.
• Identify and secure add-services opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication

• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.
• Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.
• Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

The advertised salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location. This base salary does not reflect the full compensation package, which may include bonuses, 401(k) matching up to 8%, and other benefits.
