Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Middle-Tier Database Developer to build robust backend services in C#/.NET, interacting with Oracle databases and enterprise systems. You will translate requirements into scalable designs, develop APIs and data-access layers, and optimize data transactions across complex environments.

The role emphasizes SOLID principles, RESTful APIs, ORM usage, and strong SQL skills within a DoD/government contracting context. Hybrid on-site work in Northeast Philadelphia is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required and NACLC clearance ability.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and DoD IAT Level II certification or equivalent.
• Strong C#, .NET, SQL skills and experience with Oracle/SQL Server.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, ORM frameworks, and SOA patterns.
• Proven ability to work in hybrid client environments with DoD constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middle-tier services in C#/.NET interacting with Oracle and enterprise systems.
• Create APIs, services, and data-access components to meet business needs.
• Optimize database performance, SQL/PL-SQL, and data modeling practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support CI/CD and deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, integration, and data layers.
