Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Middle-Tier Database Developer to build and maintain robust middle-tier services and data-driven applications using C# and .NET, with Oracle databases and enterprise systems. You will design scalable backend components and APIs for critical business functions in a DoD/government-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong SQL/PL-SQL skills, and a solid understanding of SOLID principles.

• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middle-tier services and backend components using C# and .NET that interact with Oracle databases.
• Translate business requirements into scalable backend designs and solutions.
• Develop APIs, services, interfaces, and data-access components to support business needs.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and middleware for web apps and external interfaces.
• Implement efficient database interactions using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle-based databases handling complex data transactions such as EDI.
• Optimize performance, indexing, and query tuning.
• Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture in design.
• Troubleshoot production issues in application logic and data layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, database, business analysts, and infrastructure.
• Support CI/CD, deployments, and production operations.
