Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Mid Systems Engineer (CAASM) to design, deploy and integrate CAASM solutions (Axonius/Armis) for Federal Civilian Agencies. Remote or Arlington, VA office options support flexible work arrangements.

You will lead data integration efforts, troubleshoot complex data challenges, and collaborate with architects to ensure secure, compliant CAASM deployments across government environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS products in a regulated production environment (Axonius/Armis preferred).
• 2+ years performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments and basic troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring, and security upgrades.
• 2+ years hands-on programming and debugging (Python, Go or Java), shell scripting, containerization, and data storage/retrieval from diverse sources (e.g., REST APIs).
• 1+ years ETL techniques using COTS products (Axonius/Armis preferred).
• 1+ years deploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing solutions in a cloud environment for Government customers, preferably AWS GovCloud.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CAASM tools (Axonius and Armis) in non-production and production environments and configure adaptors to collect asset and user data.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and integrators to assess requirements and design CAASM configurations meeting CDM data requirements.
• Support internal teams with API integration and troubleshooting.
• Secure the solution using TLS, certificates, SSO/PIV authentication, and encryption technologies.
• Test data flows, troubleshoot issues, and monitor CAASM health to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Document installation and configuration of production deployments.
• Serve as a CAASM trusted advisor, providing SME guidance and best practices to internal teams and Government agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for Production support.

ECS is seeking aMid Systems Engineer (CAASM) to work remotely or in ourArlington, VAoffice.

Everforth ECS is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join their team, with a focus on Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platforms – specifically Armis and Axonius . In this role, y ou will be a part of an effort to continue streamlining and deploying Cyber solutions within Government environments to further correlate and normalize Cyber data. You will be lead ing the planning, design, deployment , and integration of CAASM solution s to normalize data collection methods at different Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) Agencies . You’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex data challenges for customers using your knowledge of integrations, networking and security systems. Using your knowledge and experience with CAASM tools like A xonius and Armis, you’ll help the FCEB Agencies assess security threats through integration of Cyber data.

Primary duties include:

• Installing and configuring CAASM tools ( Axonius and Armis) in non-production and production environments and configuring adaptors to collect asset and user data from cyber tools, sensors, and other source s.
• Working closely with architects, engineers, and integrators to assess customer requirements and to design and support CAASM instance configurations in compliance with CDM data requirement s.
• Support internal teams with API integration and troubleshooting .
• Securing the solution using TLS, certificates, SSO/PIV authentication, and encryption technologies.
• Testing data flows, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring the health of the CAASM instances and servers to maximize performance and minimize downtime .
• Documenting the installation and configuration of production deployments .
• Serving as a CAASM trusted advisor , providing subject matter expertise , guidance, and best practice recommendations for internal teams and Government agencies .
• Participate in on-call rotation for Production support.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4 + years architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS products in a regulated production environment( Axonius /Armis preferred)
• 2 + years performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including performing basic troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades
• 2 + years of hands-on programming and debugging ( Python, GO or Java ) , shell scripting, application containerization, data storage and retrieval from a variety of sources (ex. REST API s)
• 1 + years experience with data ingest and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques using COTS Products( Axonius /Armis preferred)
• 1 +yearsdeploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing solutions in a cloud environment for Government customers, preferably AWS GovCloud
• Excellent communication and relationship skills to articulate technical topics and build consensus among stakeholders
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and correlate asset data with vulnerability feeds, threat intelligence, and security findings from multiple sources .
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Skills

• 2 + years hands-on experience integrating Axonius or Armis.
• 2 + years automating workflows securely with COTS products via API’s .
• 1 + years developing and supporting REST API’s for a SaaS product.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (ex . NIST , FIPS, FISMA, etc ).
• Ability to provide support in an IT operations and maintenance role, including ticket work information updates, issue response, and remediation.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian Agencies.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies in a scaled enterprise setting.
• Experience supporting large Federal programs ($200M+)
