Job summary

ECS Federal LLC is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer (CAASM) to deploy and optimize Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management solutions, including Axonius and Armis, for Federal Civilian Agencies. The role allows remote work or office in Arlington, VA, and involves designing integrations, securing data flows, and supporting production CAASM environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 4+ years architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS products in regulated production environments
• 2+ years systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments
• 2+ years programming and debugging (Python, Go or Java) and shell scripting
• 1+ years experience with ETL techniques using COTS products
• 1+ years deploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing cloud solutions for Government customers (AWS GovCloud)
• Excellent communication and relationship skills to articulate technical topics and build consensus
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines to ingest/normalize/correlate asset data with threat intel and findings
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CAASM tools (Axonius and Armis) in non-prod and prod environments
• Design and support CAASM configurations in line with CDM data requirements
• Support API integration and troubleshooting for internal teams
• Secure solutions using TLS, certificates, SSO/PIV, and encryption
• Test data flows, troubleshoot issues, monitor CAASM health for performance
• Document installation and production deployment configurations
• Serve as CAASM advisor, providing SME guidance to teams and agencies
• Participate in on-call rotation for Production support
