Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid Software Engineer to join our intel team. You will maintain a highly-used production system, work directly with the customer to improve user workflows, and develop parsers to enrich data into meaningful intelligence views.

The role focuses on Java Server Pages (JSP) development in a secure environment. Ideal candidates bring TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, plus 14 years with a bachelor’s in CS (or 18 years without a degree).

• 14 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 18 years without the degree.
• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components.
• Experience generating technical documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

The ideal candidate shall work with the Content Presentation team makes data actionable to users by displaying data to analysts in a safe and secure environment. The team develops parsers and displays to convert and enrich data into meaningful intelligence views. This position is for a Java Server Pages (JSP) developer. The developer will be responsible for maintaining a highly-used production system. The developer will work directly with the customer and users to improve user workflows and provide improved capabilities.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• 14 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 18 years without the degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Git
  Java, C++, or Python
  Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000
