Job description

MID-SHIFT Warehouse Picker (Noon-8:30pm)

Join us as a Warehouse Picker at MSC Industrial Supply Co.

Shift: Noon to 8:30 pm

Compensation: $18.50/hour plus incentives

We are looking for a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment to properly package materials, load and move products, and operate packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and count items from bins, racks, and flat stock to fill orders.
• Load, unload, and move products manually or using equipment.
• Verify products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantities; inspect for damage; use RF equipment for validation.
• Batch orders and assign packing slips to pick products via RF scanning.
• Operate powered equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, turret trucks, and order pickers.
• Support cross-departmental training to meet business needs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, meet productivity and quality standards, and participate in the Work Clean program.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Certification to operate powered equipment within specified timeframes
• Certification to handle DOT-regulated items if required
• Physical ability to perform job functions including standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing. Reasonable accommodations available.
