Job summary

BHJ USA, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for mid shift to perform a variety of plant maintenance duties, including installation, setup, and repair of equipment and ammonia refrigeration systems used in meat processing.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inventory management, keeping areas clean and safe, and updating PM programs. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of related experience and/or vocational training, and willingness to work

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED and vocational/technical training.
Experience in welding, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and ammonia refrigeration.
Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and equipment following manuals and diagrams.
Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing operation and using testing instruments.
Maintain inventories of equipment, parts and supplies and place orders as needed.
Keep work areas clean, safe and orderly; perform daily rounds and safety checks.
Update PM programs and document actions, irregularities, and needs for team communication.
Adhere to PPE and safety guidelines, and follow attendance policies.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
