Job summary

Golden State Foods in Burleson, TX seeks a Mid-Shift Forklift Operator to move materials in Liquid Production. You will operate sit-down/stand-up lift trucks, load and unload, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

In this role you will read batch sheets, use AS400, and collaborate with teams to maintain smooth production flow. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and physical capability for lifting and standing shifts.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension of simple instructions, memos, and batch sheets.
• Basic math for units of weight, volume, and distance per production paperwork.
• Clear written and verbal communication; effective problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety, food safety, quality and legal compliance.
• Read batch pick sheets, pull ingredients and packaging.
• Supply lines, pull lines, and put away materials and finished goods.
• Ship and receive all materials and finished goods on trucks and rail cars.
• Connect and disconnect rail cars and bulk tankers to flow panels.
• Read and understand bills of lading.
• Use AS400 computer system.
• Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
