Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, move materials, read batch pick sheets, and support shipping and receiving while ensuring safety.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, read shipping documents, and maintain inventory accuracy. Certification for forklifts is preferred, and the position involves indoor/outdoor work with PPE and adherence to safety

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Forklift Operator to support warehouse, yard, and production material movement. You’ll operate stand-up forklifts, manage inventory, and assist with shipping and receiving.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading
• Load/unload trucks and railcars
• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers
• Support recycling and yard organization
• Maintain FIFO and inventory documentation
• Clean spills and follow lockout/tagout procedures

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Stand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors
• Ability to read shipping documents and safety instructions
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy

THE SCHEDULE & SETTING

• Full-time warehouse/yard environment
• Indoor/outdoor work with variable weather exposure
• PPE required
