Job summary

Nazdar in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Mid-Shift Batchmaker for their manufacturing plant. The role involves assisting in the ink production process with a work schedule of Monday-Thursday, 1:30 PM to 12 AM. Candidates must be available for initial day shift training.

Starting pay is $18.25 per hour for those without batch experience, and $20.25 per hour for those with relevant experience, plus an additional $2.00/hour shift differential. The position includes benefits, paid holidays, and PTO.

Description

Nazdar's manufacturing plant is in search of Batch Makers to assist in the ink production area.

• Shift is from Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12 AM.
• Must be available to train on Day Shift (Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2 PM) for first few weeks.
• Starting Pay: $18.25 (with no previous batch experience) and $20.25/hr (with previous batch making, mixing, blending experience) with an additional $2.00/hr Shift Differential!

Responsibilities include:

• Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Recording weight of materials used on production records. Introducing appropriate raw materials into batch in the proper sequence.
• Observing the production of the ink and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adding or mixing chemicals and ingredients for processing.
• Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.
• Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shift.
