Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Effective written and spoken English communications.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions precisely.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Forklift operator license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Batch and cook products according to recipes.
• Monitor ingredient amounts, mixing times, and processing specs.
• Identify defects and inform supervisor.
• Collect samples and deliver to lab.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Report machinery or quality issues and submit work orders.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Perform CIP sanitation procedures.
• Assist with tomato pumping and tote breakdown during salsa runs.
• Record lots, quantities, times, and ingredients accurately.
• Follow GMPs and sanitation requirements.
• Perform sanitation tasks when production is idle.
