Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Network Engineer for the ARINC Global Network (AGN) Implementation team in Annapolis, MD. This contract role focuses on joining a globally distributed network, configuring Cisco routers/switches, and supporting WAN deployments for the transportation sector.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in network engineering, experience with BGP/OSPF, Cisco ASA, SD-WAN, and cloud connections (DX). You will manage projects, interface with customers, and document changes.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 4+ years hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF in large WAN environments.
• Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple network projects from start to finish.
• Configure Cisco routers/switches per design and document changes.
• Interfacing with customers and coordinating WAN activations.
• Update network diagrams, asset records, and change orders.
