Fisher Phillips is seeking a mid-senior level Wage & Hour Associate for our Woodland Hills, CA office. We seek candidates with at least five years of wage and hour litigation experience to join our team defending employers in complex, high-exposure actions.

Qualifications

• At least five years of wage and hour litigation experience.
• California Bar admission and JD from an ABA-accredited law school are required.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and responding to complaints, answers, and dispositive motions.
• Managing written discovery
• Taking and defending depositions
• Preparing and arguing motions, including class certification and decertification motions
• Litigating and strategizing PAGA representative actions
• Analyzing exemption classifications, regular rate calculations, meal and rest period compliance, pay statement claims, and waiting time penalties
