Belay Technologies seeks a Mid-Level or Senior System Administrator to join our intel team in Maryland. You will support a large, distributed network environment, administering servers, storage, and networks while ensuring security and performance across air-gapped systems.

The role requires adapting quickly to changing priorities and collaborating with the team on diverse tasks. The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with polygraph, a related technical degree with 8+ years of experience, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience building/configuring/maintaining large distributed Trellix ePO environments.
• Strong scripting experience in SALT and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, VMware, Apache Tomcat, IIS, SQL Server, and KVMs.
• Security accreditation/certification experience and knowledge of PKI, SSP, and multi-domain environments.

Responsibilities

• Install applications and administer systems to ensure reliable operations.
• Optimize server/desktop configurations for continuous, efficient performance.
• Handle security management and performance optimization tasks.
• Administer and sustain complex server enclaves with domain architectures.
• Identify hardware/software issues and coordinate re-work resolutions.
• Document complex server/network environments for incident resolution and upgrades.
• Communicate with users and support personnel regarding outages and upgrades.
