Job summary

Exit seeks a proactive project management professional to lead environmental graphic design projects in Philadelphia. You will manage multiple client accounts, ensure timely delivery, and balance budgets while guiding the creative process and coordinating studio resources.

The role requires 4–6 years in account or project management, strong communication, strategic thinking, and leadership. This is a full-time, hybrid position with three days in our Philadelphia office, plus some site travel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of multiple client accounts, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
  • Provide long- and short-term planning, workflow management, and team mentorship.
  • Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as trusted advisor on strategy and execution.
  • Oversee project scopes, timelines, and budgets; coordinate with internal teams to keep deliverables on track.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams to meet objectives and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for client accounts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to identify opportunities for account growth and new proposals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the project management team at Exit, this position plays a crucial role in leading the business on key environmental graphic design projects and client accounts. We’re looking for someone who inspires trust and confidence among our clients, is detail-oriented, and communicates clearly. This person should have experience in project or account management and should feel comfortable as a strategic leader in our studio. The ideal candidate feels confident in proactively managing the creative process, studio resources, and ensuring our team is on schedule and within budget. Knowledge of experiential graphic design and the construction process is a plus. This role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires the candidate to work out of our Philadelphia office three days a week, with some travel to project sites for meetings, walking a project site, and production coordination.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
  • Lead day-to-day management of multiple client accounts, ensuring projects align with client goals and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide short- and long-term planning, workflow management, team mentorship, and assist in the development of best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on strategy, creative direction, and execution.
  • Oversee project scopes, timelines, and budgets, working closely with internal teams to keep deliverables on track and within project parameters.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with clients and internal teams, ensuring creative solutions meet client objectives and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for client accounts, analyzing project metrics, gathering feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors to identify opportunities for account growth, including upsells and new project proposals.
  • Address client concerns, resolve conflicts, and proactively manage expectations to maintain strong client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director to build project management tools and processes.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
  • Experience: You have experience in project and design process management with a proven passion for communications in the built environment. You have 4-6 years of experience in account management, with a proven track record of client relationship building and project leadership.

You are proficient in managing multiple, complex projects, balancing priorities, and optimizing resources to meet deadlines.   • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage and oversee project budgets, providing accurate financial reports and forecasts.
  • A Dependable Communicator: You use excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex information, ensuring clarity in project updates, client interactions, and team briefings while developing trusting relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Adobe Creative Suite and Figma knowledge is a plus.
