Boutique Recruiting seeks a Mid‑Senior Level Associate to handle complex wage and hour litigation in a fast‑paced California practice. You will manage cases from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, take depositions, and advise on strategy with partners.

Ideal candidate has five+ years' experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to juggle multiple matters in state and federal courts across California.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in wage and hour or complex litigation.
• Experience litigating under California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA.
• Proven ability to manage matters from inception through resolution.
• Comfort developing strategy in PAGA representative actions.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing/analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability are preferred.

Salary Range: $245,000 - $270,000 / Year DOE

Mid‑Senior Level Associate Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
• Draft and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Defend employers in complex wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions in state and federal courts throughout California
• Manage written discovery and prepare key motions, including class certification and decertification

Mid‑Senior Level Associate Requirements

• Five or more years of experience
• Substantial experience litigating claims under the California Labor Code, the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
• Proven ability to manage matters from inception through resolution
• Comfortable developing a strategy in PAGA representative actions and analyzing core wage and hour compliance issues
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability are preferred
