Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Mid, to provide support for development, operation, and testing of DoD munition systems. You will design, modify, and evaluate complex mechanical and electro‑mechanical components and subsystems.

You will plan technical projects, analyze results, and prepare design specifications and recommendations. A Bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Pro/Engineer/CREO and SolidWorks.
• Experience in engineering analysis of systems and components.
• Ability to develop and execute test plans and analyze results.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate mechanical and electro‑mechanical components, sub-systems and systems.
• Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval.
• Plan, organize and conduct technical projects involving design and development of new or improved products or processes.
• Investigate solutions to product and/or process problems.
• Consolidate results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects.
• Provide critical test support and develop reports on findings and recommendations.
