Sales Engineer (SE) Mid-Market
US East Coast - Remote
Swarmia is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Engineer to drive technical sales and support our revenue growth. In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with sales/business acumen to help engineering leaders understand how Swarmia's developer productivity platform can address their challenges with data-driven engineering practices, process improvement, and engineering effectiveness.
This is a hybrid role that blends technical pre-sales support, post-sales enablement, and light-touch customer support responsibilities — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer impact.

Pre-Sales Support
Partner with Account Executives on customer discovery calls and product demos.
Understand customer infrastructure, workflows, and goals to tailor technical discussions.
Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot engagements with hands-on guidance.
Work as the product expert and lead conversations around Swarmia and how it operates with integrations (e.g. GitHub, Jira, Slack, Linear).
Post-Sales Enablement
Support new customer onboarding by working with the customer to configure integrations and driving technical implementation.
Partner with Customer Success to handoff and ensure customers successfully adopt Swarmia’s capabilities.
Assist with customer training and documentation development.
Support and Feedback Loop
Triage and respond to technical support tickets and escalate issues to Engineering when needed.
Surface product feedback and feature requests from customers to Product and Engineering.
Contribute to internal documentation and process improvements for scale.
3+ years in customer facing Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager Technical CSM, or similar roles, supporting Sales and CS
Strong technical aptitude; familiarity with software engineering workflows, CI/CD, Git, Jira, and related tools.
Experience selling within the software development or software engineering function is preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
