Job summary

Enerflex is seeking an intermediate welder to complete routine welding and fabrication per defined processes under moderate supervision. The role involves joining metal, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include passing tests (3G/6G), operating MIG/TIG/flux-core/Stick, cutting with flame or plasma torches, and collaborating with the team while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must pass 3G test for vessel/tower or 6G test for pipe
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Knowledge of pipe, structural and vessel materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Responsibilities

• Welds using MIG, TIG, flux-core or stick processes
• Welds brackets and braces as needed
• Positions pieces in jigs and fixtures using measuring tools
• Operates flame and plasma cutting torches
• Follows Welding Procedure Specification and parameters
• Promotes safety and teamwork; supports process improvements
• Occasionally operates forklift and other heavy equipment
