Job summary

Enerflex is seeking an intermediate welder to perform routine welding within defined processes, joining and repairing metal using MIG, TIG, flux-core, or stick methods. You’ll work under moderate supervision and ensure quality by following Welding Procedure Specifications.

The role requires ability to pass tests (3G/6G), reading blueprints, and a minimum of one year of welding experience. Safety and teamwork are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related welding experience.
• Must pass 3G test for vessel/tower or 6G test pipe.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding drawings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Use metal core MIG, TIG, flux-core or stick welding processes.
• Pass applicable welding tests and non-destructive examinations.
• Weld brackets and braces, position pieces in jigs and fixtures, and weld on code materials.
• Operate flame and plasma cutting torches with proficiency.
• Read and understand blueprints; interpret welding Specifications.
• Operate basic cutting equipment and related tooling.
• Promote and comply with safety and project rules in all tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to improve department processes and efficiency.
• Weld per Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and related parameters.
