Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Mid-level UAM Engineer to support an Insider Threat Program. You will monitor, maintain, and deploy the UAM tool and hosted infrastructure, aiming to identify insider threats through analytics and data correlation.

The role requires hands-on UAM experience, leadership, and documentation skills, with DoD TS eligibility and EOD clearance as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support UAM software solution updates, deployments, and sustainment activities.
• Maintain UAM and hosted infrastructure to ensure enterprise coverage.
• Address coverage gaps and support configuration requests from ITP analysts.
• Capture configuration baselines in documentation and assist training with stakeholders.
• Ensure certification programs for personnel development are in place.

Mid-level UAM Engineer, Insider Threat Program

Location: Lorton, Virginia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a User Activity Monitor (UAM) Engineer to support an Insider Threat Program (ITP). This is an opportunity to use your experience to support the UAM tool and its hosted infrastructure. The mission is to identify insider threats by utilizing analytics, monitoring, and data correlation to help address and eliminate potential threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the User Activity Monitor Software solution, executing all updates, changes, deployments, and other sustainment activities.
• Support UAM maintenance activities to ensure proper functionality and deployment throughout the enterprise.
• Ensure all coverage gaps are resolved.
• Assist ITP analysts with requests for new configurations, feeds, and other UAM specific updates.
• Support all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline.
• Support training as directed by the customer to stakeholders on the usage of the UAM tool and ensure a certification program is in place for personnel development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have recent hands‑on UAM support experience.
• Prior leadership responsibilities are required.
• Experience should include developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports, as well as preparing and presenting briefings to senior customer management and stakeholders.
• Experience with EverFox or other similar User Activity Monitoring products and platforms is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in IT service delivery management.
• Experience with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms.
• Experience with Everfox or other similar High Speed Guard Platforms.
