Burgess & Niple is a civil engineering company providing engineering and architectural services. They are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer to join their team in Oklahoma City, where the role involves completing design tasks and collaborating on various transportation projects.

Responsibilities

As part of the project team, complete design tasks for bridge, highway, roadway, streets, traffic & safety, pedestrian or bike trail projects for DOT and local agencies

Complete plan preparation including geometrics, grading and drainage, construction sequencing and traffic control in collaboration with a diverse project team

Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and reports for a variety of rural and urban projects from low volume roadways to major freeways and complex interchanges

Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery

Qualification

Civil Engineering Degree Professional Engineer (PE) Registration Transportation Design Experience CAD Design Software Microsoft Office Suite

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program

Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Oklahoma or ability to obtain through reciprocity within six months

5 years of related transportation design and delivery experience

Experience with CAD design software

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
