LJB Inc. in Ohio seeks a Mid-level Traffic Engineer to support our Transportation Practice in one of our Ohio offices (Dayton, Cleveland, or Columbus).

You will perform traffic impact studies, signal timing plans, and safety analyses while coordinating with clients and state DOTs to deliver efficient, safe transportation solutions. This role offers growth within a national engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a P.E. license.
• 4+ years of experience in traffic engineering.
• Experience with traffic impact studies, signal design, and corridor studies.
• Familiarity with state DOT projects and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic impact studies and safety analyses.
• Design signal timing plans and highway lighting concepts.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with DOTs.
• Lead project tasks and collaborate with a transportation team.
• Visit work sites as needed to monitor progress.
