Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Mid-Level Toxicologist/Risk Assessor to apply knowledge of toxicology, human health risk assessment and/or epidemiology to science-based evaluations of current and emerging environment and human health concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project work may include occupational health, litigation support, regulatory comment, product safety assessments, and site-specific human health risk assessment.
• Assess exposure and human health risks from chemicals in the environment and consumer products.
• Perform analyses in support of projects, such as preparing tables, systematic reviews, and hazard assessments.
• Conduct literature searches and critically review and evaluate scientific studies regarding toxicology and exposure sciences.
• Assist in the preparation of deliverables (reports, memoranda, proposals, agency comments).
• Opportunities to manage small- to medium-sized projects.

Education and Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in toxicology or related field. (required)

• Advanced degree in toxicology or related field. (preferred)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• At least 5 years (7+ preferred) of environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
• Exceptional written and oral communication. (required)
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, statistics, databases, and prior consulting experience. (preferred)
