Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Mid‑Level Systems Integration and Test Engineer (SE‑3) supporting the 46 Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL under the TMAS III contract. You will design, construct, integrate, and sustain T&E systems in the ADTL, with fast-paced innovation and opportunities for growth.

This is a full‑time, onsite position at Eglin AFB, FL. Limited telework may be authorized based on mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
• US citizenship required; must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ADTL test-support hardware, software, and scripts under security guidelines.
• Perform hands-on integration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and electrical components.
• Analyze failures in test equipment and propose technical solutions.
• Assist Test Engineers with test architectures and engineering solutions.
• Review technical documentation to gather system data for design and support.
• Interface with program offices to develop engineering solutions.
• Assist test teams in integrating engineered solutions into test plans and reports.
• Develop and maintain a continuity database and engineering solution library.
• Present technical briefings to the test community and senior personnel.
• Travel to contractor facilities and test sites as needed.

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Mid‑Level Systems Integration and Test Engineer (SE‑3) supporting the 46 Test Squadron / TGBC at Eglin AFB, FL under the TMAS III contract.
The Datalinks Test Flight is seeking a degreed computer scientist or engineer with software development/scripting knowledge and work experience to support the design, construction, integration, and sustainment of Test & Evaluation (T&E) systems in the Advanced Datalinks Test Lab (ADTL). The environment is fast‑paced and centers on innovative digital communications technologies, offering both on‑the‑job training and formal technical coursework. Candidates should have strong technical foundations with motivation to expand into additional required domains. Responsibilities may range from supporting project leads to leading efforts as experience progresses.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain ADTL test‑support hardware, software, and scripts under established security guidelines.
• Perform hands‑on integration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and electrical components, using electrical measurement tools for verification and validation.
• Analyze failures associated with test equipment and recommend technical solutions.
• Assist Test Engineers with developing test architectures and engineering solutions.
• Review technical documentation to gather system data required for design and support.
• Interface with program offices to assist in developing engineering solutions.
• Assist test teams integrating engineered solutions into test plans, CONOPS, test cards, data‑analysis plans, and formal reports.
• Develop and maintain a continuity database and engineering solution library.
• Develop and present technical briefings to the test community, program offices, and senior‑level personnel.
• Travel to contractor facilities, test sites, and other locations as needed.
• Participate in planning, execution, data analysis, report generation, and other program‑related activities.
• Support additional tasks assigned by TGBC leadership.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance;must be approved for TS/SCI and Special Access

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other relevant technical fields

Years of Experience: 3–10 years of experience (experience may substitute for education)

• Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to communicate and present technical details clearly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering

• Understanding of digital data RF systems or data links.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with software/hardware testing and automated test tools.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of software development and scripting.

• Understanding of digital data RF systems or data links (preferred).
• Python scripting experience (preferred).
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems (preferred).
• Experience with software and/or hardware testing (preferred).
• Experience developing automated test tools or fixtures (preferred).Ability to use electrical measurement tools for verification and validation.
• Ability to review technical documentation and translate requirements into engineering actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
