Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is actively seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our Albuquerque, New Mexico office.

The role involves working on a broad range of projects using diverse structural materials, including new designs and investigations/retrofits of existing buildings. The candidate will engage in drawing development, calculations, project coordination, construction administration, and site visits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Master’s degree in civil or architectural engineering counts as 1 year of experience.
• Successful completion of the 16-hour NCEES structural engineering exam counts as 1 year of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.
• Mentor and supervise engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality project documentation.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
• Build lasting relationships with clients through project work and business development activities.
