Our structural engineers are recognized for cost-efficient design, including tilt-up and steel detailing. We are the preferred structural designer for architects, contractors, and owners throughout North America.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer for our Buildings Practice. The engineer will analyze, design, and develop structural components and systems to meet project goals for our clients.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $76,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience, certifications, and regional standards.

Essential Functions

1. Complete structural calculations for systems including superstructures, foundations, and slabs.
2. Assist in preparing construction documents for vertical structures.
3. Coordinate with design staff to ensure accurate documentation.
4. Communicate with clients and attend meetings as directed.
5. Maintain technical knowledge through training and professional development.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis required; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with knowledge in reinforced concrete and steel design for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, including tilt-up.
• Experience in preparing construction documents, reports, and supporting materials.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with cast-in-place concrete and steel mid-rise structures is a plus.
• Proficiency in RAM Structural, Enercalc, and Revit software.
