Job Details

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations using engineering fundamentals and applicable building codes.
• Utilize a range of engineering software tools to support computer-aided design and analysis.
• Prepare and manage project documentation for client submissions and internal use.
• Attend on-site meetings and conduct inspections during various stages of construction.
• Draft formal written reports summarizing field observations and construction progress.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the design and construction process.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within project teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree will be a plus
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
• 7-15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on multiple project types, including multifamily, higher education facilities, healthcare institutions, hospitals, data centers / mission-critical structures, or commercial buildings
• Expertise in the use of building materials such as concrete, steel, and timber
• Proficiency in software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, and RAM
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
