POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking a mid-level Site Civil Engineer to support electrical utility and renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage. The position is based in Cincinnati, OH, with hybrid or remote work options.

Roles and Responsibilities

Support grading, drainage, stormwater management design, access road design, permitting, and construction support for utility and renewable energy sites.

Key Tasks

• Prepare and review engineering deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
• Design stormwater management systems and floodplain analysis
• Create site layouts, grading, and drainage drawings
• Develop bills of materials and construction specifications
• Review work submitted by others and provide mentorship
• Coordinate with project teams to meet scope, budget, and quality expectations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Engineer-In-Training Certification
• 5-8+ years of civil site design experience
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
• Strong communication skills in English and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License with NCEES Record
• Experience with stormwater and hydraulic modeling software
• Electric utility substation design experience
• Leadership skills
