Credit Acceptance Corporation is seeking a mid-level to senior Analyst in Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning. You will design and monitor models across credit risk, collections, and marketing to drive data-driven decisions.

The role supports governance, testing, and ongoing performance, with work-from-home flexibility and occasional travel to Southfield, MI. Required a quantitative degree with 1+ years (Analyst) or 3+ years (Senior Analyst) of predictive analytics, and proficiency in SQL

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field and 1+ years of predictive analytics experience (Analyst) or 3+ years (Senior Analyst).
  • Experience applying statistical or ML techniques to business problems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical language (Python, SAS, or R).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience in financial services or data-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor statistical and ML models for credit risk, collections, servicing, marketing, and forecasting.
  • Translate business objectives into analytical solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Prepare analytical code and data pipelines to acquire, transform, validate, and analyze large datasets.

(Analyst)* 3+ years of experience developing predictive models or performing advanced analytics in a business or research environment.
