Job Summary

Job Description

• Performs seed processing and packaging activities, including receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling, and warehousing.
• Assists with outdoor seed production activities such as planting, pollinating, note-taking, data entry, and hand harvesting.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of assigned equipment.
• Supports R&D activities through electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings using computers and handheld devices.
• Organizes, moves, and stores seed materials while maintaining accurate inventory records using electronic inventory systems.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, and tracking of seed materials.
• Follows established standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and site safety requirements.
• Completes assigned tasks accurately and maintains a clean and organized work area.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform bending, lifting, and extended periods of sitting or standing

• Must be available for extended working hours during peak production seasons, as needed
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment
• Must comply with all site safety policies, procedures, and SOPs

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary: $20.88 to $28.88 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
