Job summary

OpenNova is seeking a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support scalable Salesforce solutions across the ecosystem. The role emphasizes Apex, Lightning Web Components, and a strong balance between declarative and programmatic approaches while ensuring maintainable growth.

You will work with admins, architects, and leadership to align with platform standards, contribute to data integrity and security, and participate in Agile delivery activities to drive successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, platform architecture, and governor limits.
• Experience with declarative capabilities including Flows, validation rules, security configuration, and platform automation.
• Experience working across Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or similar environments.
• Experience designing and delivering maintainable Salesforce solutions with limited supervision.
• Experience developing or supporting Salesforce integrations using APIs.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with developers, administrators, architects, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce APIs, and core platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain declarative solutions including Flows, validation rules, approval processes, dynamic forms, and page layouts.
• Evaluate requirements to balance declarative vs programmatic development.
• Develop scalable, bulkified solutions that follow governor limits and best practices.
• Troubleshoot existing Salesforce functionality and identify opportunities for optimization and refactoring.
• Design and support Salesforce data models, object relationships, and data integrity practices.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce security and sharing models (profiles, permission sets, roles, field-level security).
• Collaborate with admins, architects, and engineering leadership to align with standards and governance.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to event-driven and integration-based solutions; build automation strategies to reduce duplication and maintenance.
• Support Experience Cloud implementations and enhancements; develop Apex and LWC for portal functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployments, and Agile ceremonies; translate business requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
